Seasons at a glance
🌟
Peak season: Jan, Feb, Dec
The Andamans' driest, most reliable stretch for a beach holiday, calm seas and plenty of sun. Rain can sometimes linger into the first half of January, and this window is also generally the calmest for cyclone risk.
🌤️
Shoulder season: Mar, Apr, May, Sep, Oct, Nov
This tier spans real variety. March and April are still dry but increasingly hot, and April also marks the start of cyclone season. May and November sit at the edges of the monsoon, still fairly wet. September and October are deep in the rains but starting to ease.
Off-peak season: Jun, Jul, Aug
The heart of the southwest monsoon, when rain is heaviest and most frequent, skies stay overcast for long stretches, and the sea can turn rough.
